With the Presence of the Director General of Mazandaran Standards:
The Standardization Office Was Inaugurated at the University
According to the Office of International Scientific Cooperation of the University, and in line with the joint Memorandum of Understanding between Sari University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the Mazandaran Provincial Office of Standards—based on the Law on Strengthening and Developing the National Standardization System—the Standardization Office was officially inaugurated at the University in the presence of Dr. Mojtaba Khoshrosh, Acting President of the University, and Mr. Abbas Rahimi, Director General of the Mazandaran Standards Office.
Dr. Mojtaba Khoshrosh, Acting President of the University, announced that this office has been established with the aim of creating the necessary groundwork and raising awareness for the development of national and international standards, identifying and certifying qualified faculty members for teaching in training courses and workshops, and enabling joint use of the research, library, and laboratory facilities of both institutions.
He emphasized that cooperation in the implementation of research projects, organizing standardization training courses and specialized workshops, promoting a culture of quality and standardization, and facilitating the issuance of standard expert licenses for eligible faculty members constitute other primary missions of this office.
The Acting President further highlighted additional objectives of the office, including providing study and research opportunities for faculty members in the field of standardization, mutual utilization of information services, organizing visits to production and service units, participation in conferences and exhibitions, guiding university laboratories toward ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, and conducting field studies and joint monitoring projects as part of its future agenda.
