        New Erasmus project at SANRU university

        New Erasmus + project at SANRU university
        On 12-16 February 2018, a kick-off meeting was held at the Technische Universität Ilmenau in the Federal Republic of Germany for the project "Fostering Internationalization in Agri-cultural Engineering in Iran and Russia [FARMER]", which was addressed under the Erasmus + KA2 - Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices - Capacity building in the field of higher education.
        Negotiations with partner universities were attended by the delegation team from the Sari Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University (SANRU), including Prof. Dr. Mohammad-Ali Bahmnanyar, president of SANRU, Dr. Seyed Ali Jafarpour, Director of International Scientific Cooperation Office and Dr. Davoud Kalantary, Assistant Prof. department of Mechanic Biosystem. The meeting was attended by five partners from the Russian Federation, two partners from Iran, one from Italy and one from Slovakia. The meetings that took place in the Ernst-Abbe-Zentrum complex were carried out in a friendly atmosphere, and the working pace was traditionally "German" demanding and precisely prepared. The work program was initially filled with the presentation of individual universities and their study programs, workshops, further discussions on financial management of the project, general management of the project, mobility plan, and work plan for the first year of the project solution, and finally the presentation of the possibility of an online educational laboratory at Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra university-Slovakia. The aim of the project is the realization of the international study program Agromechatronics in accordance with the ECTS principles for students of the Erasmus + mobility program, taught in English at our university. The project started in 2017 and will last until 2020. The final meeting of the team is scheduled for April 2019 and our university. We believe that the project's results will enrich our university with foreign students who will further promote the reputation and high level of scientific and pedagogical activity at our university. We will keep you informed about other results and activities. The project started in 2017 and will last until 2020.
