        Presentation of Prof. Dr. Hossein Ghadiri from the Griffith University-Australia at the SANRU University on 10th April, 2017
        According to the Dr. Ali Jafarpour, the Director of International Scientific Cooperation Office and based on the invitation made by the academic staffs at the Department of Soil Science, Prof. Dr. Hossein Ghadiri showed up at the SANRU for a presentation entitled “the Soil Science and its linkage to the Environmental Science” on the 10th April, 2017.
        The pivotal point of his speech was regarding to the importance of soil science in the scientific world and its linkage with the Environmental Science as he believed that soil science has been reached to its maturity degree that needs to cut off his umbilical cord from the Agricultural Sciences and join to the Environmental science. He added that due to the futuristic vision of administration board of Griffith University, this occurred in Australia in 1975 and now the Griffith University has been turn to one of the leading universities in this field in the world. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Ghadiri implied to some research studies that have been conducted successfully in Australia like rehabilitation of Murray Basin River. On the other hand, some researches regarding the Karoun River and Hourolazim marshland in Iran failed due to some miss managements that caused to dryness of Iranian and Iraqi marshlands, resulted in soft dusts in which has been turned to a natural disaster mainly to the Southern Iranian people.
        After his speech, a private meeting was held at the Office of Soil Science department with the presence of Prof. Mohammad Ali Bahmanyar, the President of SANRU, the chairman of faculty of Crop Sciences, academic staffs of Soil Science department and the Director of ISCO.
